I love, love, love these to kick-start my mornings! Jam packed with protein, these waffles are great for making you feel like you’re not eating ‘healthy!’ Be warned they can be a little more dense than your typical eggo waffles but they are tasty in my opinion! My previous trainer came up with these and I love em!
1 cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal
1 scoop protein powder (I’m a die-hard ISO 100 fan)
2 egg whites
Blend Kashi and protein until it’s a fine powder. Make sure you measure the cereal before you blend it.
whisk egg whites and add to cereal mixture. Mix as much milk to your desired consistency.
I have used almond, soy, coconut and regular milk. It all turns out the same!
Put into your waffle maker and enjoy! Don’t forget to spray to waffle maker with non stick spray first!
I have made this recipe into pancakes which sorta work…but I’d prefer the waffle due to its density!
